The exhibitions in the Stedelijk Museum are a must for fans of modern art. The artistic treasures in the magnificent museums are mighty impressive too. After all, there are more canals in Amsterdam than there are in Venice and more bridges than there are in Paris. It’s worth dismounting every now and then too, as a long canal tour by boat gives a good overall impression and guarantees a cheerful mood. The city is best discovered by bicycle - after all, the Dutch swear by theirs. After your trip on the Nightjet - which runs daily from Vienna and Innsbruck - you will arrive well rested at Centraal Station and can dive straight into the hustle and bustle.
That’s because there is always something new to discover in Amsterdam, even for seasoned visitors.
It simply isn’t possible to visit the capital of the Netherlands too often.
